Nail the exact scoreline and bank 5 points. Predict the right goal margin (e.g. any 2-goal win when the actual is 3–1)? That's 3 points. Get the right winner but the wrong margin? 1 point. On top of that, bonus points are awarded as teams progress through each knockout round — up to 200 for predicting the tournament winner.

Exact score
e.g. You predict 3–1, final is 3–1

e.g. Final is 3–1 (margin +2), you predict 2–0
Correct result
Right winner or draw, different margin
Wrong result
Predicted the wrong team to win
Applies to draws too. Knockout rounds: also predict extra time & penalties if level after 90 mins.
Create a league, share the invite code with mates, family, or your work group chat — then watch who climbs the table as the tournament unfolds. There's also a global leaderboard if you want to see how you compare to everyone.

Bonus points — knockout rounds
Bonus points are calculated automatically from your match score predictions.
This is the part that trips most people up — here's everything you need to know.
You predict all 104 matches before the tournament starts
That includes every knockout match — even though the actual teams aren't confirmed yet. When the group stage concludes, the knockout brackets fill in automatically based on who qualified. You can't update your predictions once the tournament begins.
The score is what matters — not which team you named
Say you predicted France vs Brazil in a Round of 32 match, with Brazil winning 1–2. The group stage ends and it turns out France actually plays Argentina in that slot. Your prediction is still 1–2 — and if Argentina wins by a single goal (0–1, 1–2, etc.), you score points as normal. If the exact score is 1–2, you get 5 points. Right margin, 3 points. Right result, 1 point.
Bonus points reward you for predicting team advancement
Separately from match score points, you earn bonus points for every team you correctly predict to reach each knockout round. These are calculated automatically from your group stage predictions — no extra input needed.
So in the example above: if you predicted France would reach the Round of 32 (and they did), you get +5 pts for that. If you also predicted France to reach the Round of 16 and they do, that's another +10 pts. The score prediction and the bonus points are completely independent of each other.
Quick summary
Can I change my knockout predictions?
No — all predictions lock when the tournament kicks off.
Do I lose points if different teams end up in my predicted slots?
No — your score prediction still applies to whoever plays in that match. You can still earn full match points.
What if I predicted the wrong team to reach a round?
You won't earn bonus points for that team that round — but your match score prediction is unaffected.
When are bonus points awarded?
As soon as a team's presence in a round is confirmed — automatically, nothing extra to do.

Yes, you can update any prediction up until the match kicks off. Once a game starts, that prediction is locked.
Bonus points are awarded automatically for predicting which teams advance through each knockout round. Your match score predictions determine which teams you've predicted to progress — no separate bracket entry needed. 5 pts per team into Round of 32, 10 pts into Round of 16, 25 pts into Quarter-Finals, 50 pts into Semi-Finals, 100 pts per team into the Final, and 200 pts for the tournament winner.
Your score prediction still stands — the result you predicted applies to whoever actually plays in that match. You can still earn exact score, correct margin, or correct result points regardless of which teams ended up there. What changes is your bonus points: those are tied to specific teams advancing, not the match slots.
For matches that could go to extra time (Round of 32 onwards), you also predict the extra-time and penalty shootout scores if the game is level after 90 minutes. All knockout predictions are locked once the tournament starts — you can't update them when the actual teams are confirmed.
A prediction set is your full entry — all 104 match scores under one name. You can create multiple sets (e.g. one optimistic, one cautious) and enter them all into leagues.
Create a league and share the 6-character invite code with anyone you want to compete against. Everyone in the league sees the same leaderboard, updated live as results come in.
FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on 11 June 2026, hosted across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The Final is on 19 July 2026 at MetLife Stadium, New York/New Jersey.
